t.A.T.u. performed in San Bonifacio, Italy at club “Skylight” on May 17th, 2008. They performed new songs “220” and “White Robe.” Below is the video of “220” filmed by tony69. More videos are available at tatugirls.it.
I agree with you DJ for the most part. I could do without backup dancers. And yes, cooler stage setups would help out alot.I think they should have backup performers. In place of dancing they can do other things. Poses, etc. Ive seen it done many other times in other concert tours by big name artists. Now all the girls have to do is choreography they can handle, and work on their live vocals. I think that would be the perfect live performance scenario for them.

I can completely understand the "singing rather than dancing like fools" aspect, but there are plenty of other things they could do even if they just want to literally stand there and sing. Two suggestions- back-up dancers and cooler stages. How about more interesting lighting effects? Pyrotechnics? Either be rock stars or be pop singers- stand and SING YOUR HEARTS OUT, or dance and move and lip-sync. Don't aimlessly wander the stage with a few lame dance steps, half-heartedly singing. I have no problem with a total absence of choreography. Their choreography at the last couple of shows frankly sucked. What I do have a problem with is half-assed singing. C'mon, you're both trained vocalists, you've taken the lessons, you're (supposedly) over your throat injury... let's go! With this half and half and not really anything show, they're going to get eaten alive on a potential U.S. tour...
I think there was an interview with them a few months back where they said they know they have no stage presence and don't really care. It had something to do with focusing more on singing and not moving (although anyone who has seen them live will tell you they rely heavily on lip-syncing).
I like the fact that they have costumes for their performance. I also like the choreogrsphy, but they should have put a little more effort into performing it. Listen, People complain when they just stand there and then people dont take them seriously if they dance around like idiots (remember "Show Me Love"?) I think they have finally struck the perfect balance between the two extremes. They just need a bit more rehearsal time.

Yes shouting and singing on top of a live footage is annoying but c´mon, I bet few people wants to go to their favourite band´s gig and stand quietly :D
Ok...I know Tatu is trying to improve their live show and learn from their mistakes, but I think the dancing looks akward and their clothes are a bit ridiculous (plus they do the same off-the-jackets-routine in every gig and it´s a bit boring already). It´s like they´re trying to make up their lack of stage presence with this silly coreography and flashy circus-cabaret outfits. Maybe they should see some sort of performance coach, if they already aren´t...?
This is just my opinion of course and I don´t want to sound harsh, I know the girls are trying their best :) But they´re just not quite there yet if you ask me.
Is that the same guy who filmed the performance of '220' in Moscow? 'Cause in both all you can hear is him singing over the girls. You'd think if someone were filming for the sake of having it to watch later they'd be quiet, hehe! ^_^
